Malayalam star Nivin Pauly will join hands with National Award Winning director Ram’s upcoming untitled Tamil film. This will be his third Tamil film. Nivin has previously featured in two Tamil films 2013 comedy-thriller Neram co-starring Nazriya and the 2017 actioner Richie.
The project, tentatively titled ‘Production #7’, will be produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions. The production banner is also currently producing director Silambarasan starrer Maanaadu.
The announcement poster of the project features a tribal painting of a hunter, deer and tiger, probably representing the nature of the three leads.
Besides Nivin Pauly, the film also stars Anjali and Soori and rockstar Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music. It is made as a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual. The upcoming project will mark Nivin’s return to Tamil cinema after 2017's Richie. The shooting of Ram and Nivin Paul's film will start rolling soon.
Ram has helmed acclaimed projects like 2013’s multiple National Award winning Thanga Meengal and the 2019 Mammootty-starrer Peranbu.
Nivin upcoming movies are Kanakam Kamini Kalaham, Thuramukham and Padavettu. Anjali was recently seen in Navarasa in which her film Thunindha Pin co-stars Atharvaa. She is also a part of F3 in Telugu and Bairagee in Kannada. Actor-comedian Soori will be next seen in Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai, his first film as a male lead. He will also be sharing the screen with Vijay Sethupathi.
