It's official! Mollywood director Jude Anthany Joseph is all set to present the horrifying ‘2018 Everyone is a Hero’ Kerala flood onto the screens and the most anticipated movie will be reportedly hitting the big screens on April 21st 2023. Scripted by director Jude along with Akhil P Dharmajan. 2018 Movie is one of the ambitious projects of filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph, known for directing critically acclaimed films like Ohm Shanthi Oshaana and the romantic comedy film Sara’s.
Presented by Kavya Films in association with P.K. Prime Production, “2018” is based on the true event of the 2018 Kerala Flood, shows how Keralites stayed united and fought together against the flood that turned the lives of thousands of people upside down.
The film stars Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Indrans, Vineeth Srinivasan, Lal, Narain, Aju Varghese, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Shebin Benson, Sshivada, Tanvi Ram, and Gautami Nair.
The technical crew includes cinematographer Akhil George, Chaman Chacko composing the music, and Nobin Paul handling the edits. Reportedly, ‘2018’ will be mounted on a huge budget and will be one of the most expensive movies made by the director. The film's post-theatrical rights are bagged by Sony LIV.
