Sridevi Shoban Babu, a romantic comedy starring Santosh Shoban and Gouri G Kishan in lead roles. The film written and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, who has earlier directed Bloody Mary, an Aha original film starring Nivetha Pethuraj and Shit Happens (2020), an Aha original web series. The flick is the maiden production venture of costume designer Sushmita Konidela, who is also the older daughter of actor Chiranjeevi. It became a box office massive failure.
Disney+ Hotstar has purchased the film's post-theatrical streaming rights and has already stated that it will be broadcast on its platform from March 30th onwards. The plot centers around Sridevi and Shoban Babu, who meet in Araku to fight over the contested property that belonged to their common grandfather. What happens subsequently forms the story.
Santosh Sobhan was last seen in the film 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' in 2023, whereas Gouri G Kishan was last seen in the Tamil film 'Beginning'.
