Basil Joseph and Suraj Venjaramoodu-starrer Enkilum Chandrike is set to have its digital premiere on Manorama MAX on April 1st. The film was released in theatres on February 17, and it has received a mixed response. The movie is a feel-good comedy entertainer, written and Directed by newcomer Adityan Chandrasekhar and co-written by Arjun Narayanan. Adithyan, who had acted in Hridayam and had previously helmed webseries such as Arsha Baiju’s Average Ambili and Rock Paper Scissors.
Niranjana Anoop playing the titular role of Chandrika Raveendran. The synopsis is "An imaginary rural place called Koodanthonda, a club in that village and and a series of incidents that revolve around the marriage of the Chandrika".
Apart from Basil Joseph, Suraj, and Niranjana, Enkilum Chandrike also features Saiju Kurup, Abhiram Radhakrishnan and Tanvi Ram in pivotal roles.
