Soubin Shahir’s latest outing was with the horror comedy film ‘Romancham’ and the movie is getting highly positive responses from the audiences. According to the reports, Romancham has grossed over ₹70.81 crore worldwide, currently the highest grossing Malayalam film of 2023 and the Tenth highest by an Indian film in 2023. The film is heading towards its OTT release, and it has come as a piece of exciting news for the movie buffs.
Helmed by newbie director Jithu Madhavan, the plot revolves around a group of friends living in Bengaluru. One day, they decide to play Ouija board for fun, but the goings-on take an interesting turn when the ghost they called shows no intention of leaving.
‘Romancham’ featured a list of promising actors such as Arjun Ashokan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny, Abin Bino and several others who played significant lead roles.
The film is reported to hit the OTT from April 7th on Disney+ Hotstar in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
