Bollywood actress Radhika Apte was last seen in 'Monica Oh My Darling' opposite Rajkumar Rao, her next spy-comedy film "Mrs.Undercover" will skip the theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release on the Zee5 platform from April 14, 2023.
The movie is a story of a simple Indian housewife named Durga (Radhika), who is a special undercover agent called back on the job after 10 years. The series will present Radhika in a never-seen-before avatar as a housewife and an undercover agent fighting off many bad men and patriarchal notions.
In addition to Radhika, 'Mrs. Undercover' also stars Sumeet Vyas as the antagonist and Rajesh Sharma as the head of the Special Force who recruits Durga. Roshni Bhattacharya, Indrashish Roy, Angana Roy, Laboni Sarkar, and Biswajeet Chakraborty round up the rest of the cast, with Amrita Chattopadhyay making a surprise appearance. The film has been Written and directed by newcomer Anushree Mehta.
