Having set a distinct benchmark in the industry with mega-blockbusters 'KGF' and 'Kantara', the production house Hombale Films had earlier announced a feature film titled Dhoomam headlined by Fahadh Faasil and Aparna Balamurali. The makers dropped the first look Poster. In the poster, Fahadh’s face looks injured and his lips have been sealed with a white tape, on the front, while the rest of the cast including Aparna Balamurali, Roshan Mathews, and Vineeth at the background.
Made under the direction of Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar, who has previously directed films ‘Lucia’ and ‘U-Turn’. ‘Dhoomam’ will be releasing in 4 languages - Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
Achyut Kumar, Joy Mathew, Dev Mohan, Anu Mohan, and Nandhu will be seen playing some pivotal characters in ‘Dhoomam’. The team wrapped up the shoot in January this year (2023), and the post-production works are progressing.
Apart from 'Dhoomam', Hombale Films is looking ahead with pan India films like 'Salaar', and 'Yuva'.
