India’s leading content studio, Applause Entertainment is set to make its maiden Tamil project titled ‘Por Thozhil’ is an edge-of-the-seat investigative thriller, starring Ashok Selvan, Sarath Kumar and Nikhila Vimal in a pivotal role. The film is helmed by newbie Vignesh Raja. The filmmaker has written Por Thozhil along with Alfred Prakash. The makers have unveiled a title teaser.
The video gives a thrilling murder mystery vibe as pins get pinned on a map on the board. As the first pin is pressed through, blood starts to spread, and a woman’s scream is heard in the background. These pins are then connected with a rope/string finally resulting in unravelling of the film’s name ‘Por Thozhil’.
Applause Entertainment behind projects like Scam 1992, Criminal Justice, Zwigato, will be producing the film in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio. Por Thozhil is expected to hit the screens this year.
Meanwhile, Ashok Selvan was last seen in Nitham Oru Vaanam, is working on an untitled sports drama for Neelam Productions.
