Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer recent Bollywood comedy film "Selfiee" opened in theatres on February 24th to mixed to positive reviews from cine-goers. The film failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box office. Now the flick is all set to release on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar from April 21st. The film was directed by Raj Mehta of Good Newwz fame and distributed by Star Studios.
Selfiee is the Hindi adaptation of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu's 2019 Malayalam comedy Driving Licence. The storyline goes like when a popular actor seeks to renew his license and bumps into his fan who is found to be a motor vehicle officer and thuds the plot move further.
The film also has Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha playing pivotal characters with Mrunal Thakur was seen in a dance number.
