After delivering a stellar performance in his OTT web series debut with Amazon Prime's Farzi, Bollywood Actor Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in a movie, titled ‘Bloody Daddy’, which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, of Sultan (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Bharat (2019) fame. As per the latest update, the film will have a direct-to-digital release and will start streaming on June 9 on Jio Cinemas.
‘Bloody Daddy’ is a remake of the 2011 French film ‘Nuit Blanche’ (Sleepless Nights) starring Tomer Sisley. The film also remade in Tamil as Thoongavanam / in Telugu as Cheekati Rajyam, starring Kamal Haasan. The action thriller will feature Shahid Kapoor as a loving father, who is on the run to save his child from the mafia.
Being presented by Jio Studios in association with Zafar's AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment, Vermillion World. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, Rajeev Khandelwal, Diana Penty, Ankur Bhatia, and Vivan Bhathena amongst others.
The director is currently shooting for big budget ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
