Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is venturing into film production with the Tamil film ‘LGM’ (Let’s Get Married) under his home banner Dhoni Entertainment. The film, presented by Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni, will be written and helmed by debutant Ramesh Thamilmani.
Harish Kalyan, who rose to fame with Pyaar Prema Kadhal and his stint in Bigg Boss Tamil, is the hero of the film, while Ivana of Love Today fame has been roped in to play the female lead. The film also features veteran actress Nadiya, Yogi Babu and RJ Vijay in a prominent role.
The First Look of 'LGM' shows Harish Kalyan, Ivana and Nadiya locked in a wedding ring suggesting an intense clash of emotions.
Apart from producing LGM, Sakshi Dhoni has also conceptualized the film, which has music by the director himself. Currently, the film’s shoot is progressing at a fast pace and the makers are eyeing a mid-2023 release.
