While Aishwarya Rajesh's latest film 'Soppana Sundari' is making decent fare at the box office, the actress is back with her new female-centric film 'Farhana'. 'Oru Naal Koothu' and 'Monster' fame director Nelson Venkatesan is directing the movie and its teaser has been launched by actress Rashmika Mandanna.
The teaser shows Aishwarya Rajesh playing the titular role of a Muslim girl working at a call centre. The film seems to be dealing with a grey-shaded story of the BPO using working women for obscene activities and its consequences on the lead character.
This movie bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures also stars Jithan Ramesh, Selvaraghavan, Anumol, Aishwarya Dutta and others. Farhana is coming to cinemas on May 12 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The movie has music scored by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography by Gokul Benoy and VJ Sabu Joseph as the editor.
