Zee5 latest direct-to-digital original film "Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai", a courtroom drama starring Manoj Bajpayee as the central character, PC Solanki. The film is said to be inspired by real-life incidents. The flick is all set to release on May 23, 2023 in Hindi audio format with English subtitles. Deepak Kingrani wrote the screenplay, while Apoorv Singh Karki directed it.
Synopsis: Inspired by true events, the film is based on PC Solanki, a high court lawyer who single-handedly fought an extraordinary case against a self-proclaimed Godman and successfully ended up prosecuting him for the rape of a minor. This heart-wrenching narrative also shows the inspiring story of how one man is persistent in his fight for truth and ultimately one man is enough to seek justice.
Apart from Manoj Bajpayee, Bandaa also stars Adrija and Surya Mohan Kulshrestha in crucial roles along with Kaustav Sinha, Nikhil Pandey, Priyanka Setia, Jaihind Kumar and Durga Sharma as supporting characters.
