Kollywood Director Venkat Prabhu's debut Tollywood film Custody, was released in Telugu and Tamil on May 12, starring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty played the lead roles. The film will also mark the debut of Naga Chaitanya in Tamil as it's his first bilingual film. Arvind Swamy plays the antagonist in the action- drama that also stars Priyamani in a crucial role. Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Premgi Amaren, Vennela Kishore, Ramki and Y. G. Mahendran form the supporting cast of the film.
Even though the movie came out and had good hype among the among the audiences, ‘Custody’ mostly got mixed reviews from the audiences and turned out to be a flop. Now, the flick is gearing up for a digital release. It is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video on June 9, 2023. The bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil will also be released in Kannada and Malayalam languages for wider accessibility.
