2018 - Sony Liv

The multi-starrer film directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, which revolves around the flood that created havoc in Kerala in 2018. The film became the highest-grossing film ever in Mollywood.

AVATAR2 - Disney+ Hotstar

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

CUSTODY - Prime Video

Tamil Director Venkat Prabhu's Telugu debut film Custody, action-drama that revolves around Shiva (Naga Chaitanya), a young constable tasked with the high-risk responsibility of transporting a dangerous criminal named Raju (Arvind Swamy) to the court in Bengaluru. However, the entire police force wants the witness dead. Krithi Shetty is the female lead of the film.

The movie is an adaptation of the 2011 French film Sleepless Night, which was also remade in Tamil as Thoongaa Vanam (2015), starring Kamal Haasan. The plot revolves around Narcotics officer Sumair, played by Shahid Kapoor, fights and outwits a Gurugram drug cartel after they kidnap his son.

AYISHA - Prime Video

Ayisha relocates to the Gulf to work as a domestic help for an affluent Arab family while gradually picking up the etiquette and protocol of the palace. A fascinating series of circumstances results in the growth of a lovely friendship between the titular character and Mama. Manju Warrier, Classmates fame Radhika, Krishna Sankar played the lead roles.

The story of a middle-class man’s life takes a turn when he faces issues related to drinking. Can his friends help him deal with his issues and get back to normal? Directed by Prakash N (of Naalaya Iyakkunar fame), stars Vijay Sivan and Chandini Tamilarasan in the lead.

The action-thriller film directed by P.G. Mohan and L.R. Sundarapandi. Ajmal essays a Deputy Commissioner of Police. He Keeps Getting call from Mysterious Person in the control room alerting him about the crime happening in some place.

RAAGHU - Prime Video 

Raaghu is a Kannada thriller film that follows a medicine delivery executive of the same name who works a night shift and loots the houses he delivers to. The plot sees Raaghu getting entangled in an unexpected incident, which compels him to take on a few crooked deals overnight. Directed by M Anand Raj, the film features Vijay Raghavendra in the titular role.

HELLO MEERA - Prime Video 

Hello Meera, is billed as a thriller in which Meera, an IT worker from Hyderabad, Travels back to her native place Vijayawada to get married. Her world is turned upside down by an Instagram tag from her ex-boyfriend Sudhir and call from the Police, which send her on a mental and emotional roller-coaster. The film has only one character played by Gargeyi Yellapragada and is directed by Srinivasu Kakarla.

Maalai Nera Malipoo is a real incident-based woman-centric movie directed by Sanjay Narayanan. Vinithra Menon in the lead role along with Ashwin and Dinesh Pandiar. The film will give a peek into the life of a sex worker.

Men Too deals with the various issues that men face at their workplaces. Director Srikanth tried to showcase these issues in a very funny manner but sadly, the film did not click and was out of its theaters in just a week itself.

Malaysian Tamil film, directed by Karthik Shamalan, is a tale of a young man's journey to understand the meaning of eternal love and its purpose. The film, which also has a touch of fantasy, stars Thia Lakshana and Loga Varman.
