Vijay Antony's long-delayed Tamilarasan is all set to have its digital premiere on Zee5 starting June 16. The film stars Ramya Nambeesan, Sonu Sood, Suresh Gopi, Radha Ravi, Sangeetha, Chaya Singh and Yogi Babu among others and was directed by Babu Yogeswaran. The film has its theatrical release on April 22, 2023 and received mixed to negative reviews from critics.
The film revolves around an earnest cop who kidnaps a selfish heart surgeon to save his son. How he pulls off what he intends to do amid various challenges forms the rest of the story. This is the second time Vijay Antony has essayed a cop's role after Thimiru Pudichavan.
