Hollywood spy thriller film ‘Kandahar’ directed by Ric Roman Waugh was released in theatres on May 26, 2023. The movie is written by former military intelligence officer Mitchell LaFortune and is said to be based on his experiences with the Defense Intelligence Agency when he was deployed in Afghanistan during the Snowden leaks in 2013. Now Gerard Buttler's action-thriller is all set to be released on OTT. It is streaming now on PRIME VIDEO from June 16th in English, Hindi.
It also features Indian star Ali Fazal playing a crucial character in the movie. Other stars include Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White, Tom Rhys Harries, Vassilis Koukalani, Mark Arnold, Corey Johnson, and Travis Fimmel.
The synopsis reads, "A CIA Black Ops agent and his Afghan interpreter must evade deadly forces as they escape Iran after a whistleblower reveals the agent destroyed a nuclear facility."
