The Dayal Padmanabhan-helmed movie "Kondraal Paavam" was released theatrically on March 10, 2023. The film marks the Tamil debut of Dayal. Three months after its theatrical release, the crime thriller has arrived on the digital floors. The story credit goes to Mohan Habbu.
The film is a remake of the director's own Kannada film "Aa Karaala Ratri" which itself is based on a Kannada play by Mohan Habbu translated from the tragic English play "Lithuania" by Rupert Brooke.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Santhosh Prathap, Easwari Rao, Charle, Manobala, Sendrayan played in pivotal roles. The film is all set to premiere on June 22nd on Prime Video. The synopsis reads, A stranger enters the life of a family that has been suffering in poverty for years. What follows are the events that make their lives even more miserable.
