Popular actor Anshuman Jha’s recent release, Lakadbaggha, released in theatres on 13th January, 2023 and did good business at the box office. The flick boasts a singularly unique storyline, and those who caught the movie in the theatres praised its plot, premise and performances. The film was also appreciated at the prestigious Kolkata International Film Festival and the HBO South Asian International Film Festival.
Almost six months after its theatrical release, the action vigilante film is all set for its OTT premiere. The film will start streaming on ZEE5 on June 30, 2023. The film has been directed by Victor Mukherjee, also features Riddhi Dogra, Paresh Pahuja, Milind Soman, Eksha Kerung, Bijou Thaangjam, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Denzil Smith star in it.
Its description reads, "Arjun Bakshi, an animal lover, discovers an illegal animal trade cell in Kolkata. He turns into a vigilante to save the animals and chances upon a rare species of the Indian, black-striped hyena".
The film has been made as a two-part franchise, with the second part slated to arrive next year.
