Sony Liv announces the release date of the film Farhana starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Selvaraghavan. The film helmed by Oru Naal Koothu, Monster director Nelson Venkatesan. Writers Sankar Dass and Ranjith Ravindran have collaborated with director Nelson for the screenplay. Despite some issues prior to its May 12 release, the film has received diverse reviews from critics and film buffs. 
In addition to Aishwarya Rajesh, Farhana also features Jithan Ramesh, Kitty, Anumol, and Aishwarya Dutta. In the movie, Aishwarya takes on the challenging role of Farhana, a woman hailing from a conservative family taking up a job at a call center. She befriends a stranger over a phone call and that changes her life in unexpected ways. However, little did she know that her joy would be short-lived. She becomes desperate to detach herself from the stranger after realizing his toxic behavior. Torn between his blackmails and her concerned family members, she goes through a gamut of emotions. How she manages to deal with the situation forms the rest of the story.
Aishwarya and Jithan Ramesh’s impeccable performances, as well as the intriguing narrative and effective technical aspects, were well-liked by the audience. On July 7, Farhana will be available to stream on Sony LIV (India), Simply South & Tentkotta (Excluding India).
