The ever-charming actor Siddharth’s recent outing, Takkar, was released in theaters on June 9, 2023. The film was directed by Karthik G. Krish, who earlier directed the film Kappal. The long-delayed road thriller failed to perform well at the box office. And now, following a slightly underwhelming theatrical run, the film is all set to make its debut on OTT. Takkar will start streaming on Netflix on Friday, July 7.
Cast: Divyasha Kaushik is the female lead in this flick, with Abimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, and RJ Vigneshkanth appearing in significant roles.
Plot: The film follows the journey of Guns (Siddharth), a carefree young man with dreams of becoming a millionaire. He meets Lucky, a wealthy girl who believes money is the root cause of distress. As they embark on a road trip, their lives take an unexpected turn when they become entangled in a web of human trafficking and face unforeseen twists.
On the other hand, Siddharth's upcoming line-up of films includes Indian 2, Chiththa and Test. One does expect to see him bounce back with a bang with this exciting slew of releases.
