Tamil-language political thriller movie 'Maamannan'. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, who is known for directing the films Pariyerum Perumal, Karnan. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil, and Keerthy Suresh. Initially released on June 29, “Maamannan" received largely favourable reviews from critics. Maamannan is notably Udhayanidhi’s final film as an actor before he assigns himself to full-fledged political career.
Now, it’s set to make its way to Netflix on July 27 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The movie revolves around the father-son duo, Maamannan, and Veera, and the story follows them as they tackle the obstacles put forth by their rival, Rathnavelu, to establish his control in politics.
Music for "Maamannan" was created by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. Theni Eswar handled the film's photography, Selva RK handled the editing, and backed by Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies.
