Padmini, the recently released Malayalam comedy film starring Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Madonna Sebastian and Vincy Aloshious, will start streaming on OTT. The film, which hit the theatres on July 14, is helmed by Senna Hegde, who is best known for Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam and 1744 White Alto.
Padmini is scripted by Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep. Sreeraj Raveendran, who shot Senna's last two films, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam and 1744 White Alto, is the cinematographer, and Manu Antony edited the film.
Plot: Rameshan (Kunchacko Boban), a full-time college professor and part-time poet, finds his life at a standstill when he finds himself in an incredibly uncomfortable predicament after his bride elopes on the night of their wedding. The subsequent events form the crux of the tale.
The film's supporting cast comprises Althaf Salim, Sajin Cherukayil, Ganapathi, Anand Manmadhan, Seema G Nair, Gokulan, and James Elia. Those who missed watching it in theatres can catch it on Netflix from August 11th.
