The latest 'Macho Star' Gopichand outing at the theatres, Rama Banam, will be available to stream on Netflix from September 14. The Sriwass directorial hit theatres on May 5 and ended up as a massive disappointment at the box office. The OTT platform is currently streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages along with English subtitles.
Dimple Hayati played the female lead. Rama Banam also stars Jagapathi Babu, Khushbu, Sachin Khedekar and Tarun Arora. The film tells the story of a gangster who learns that his brother is in danger and decides to protect him and his love life.
Rama Banam marks the third collaboration of director Sriwass' with Gopichand. The actor-director duo has earlier worked together in Lakshyam (2007) and Loukyam (2014). The film is produced under the banner People Media Factory.
On the other hand, Gopichand is busy with the shooting of his new film Bheema which is directed by a debutante.
