Ruhani Sharma made her debut with Rahul Ravindran's Chi La Sow which also had Akkineni Sushanth as the main lead. Since her debut, Ruhani has been mostly seen in glamorous roles in Telugu cinema. But for the first time in her career, she played the role of a cop in HER. The film was made in two parts and the Chapter 1 was released on July 21 this year. Though the film received mixed reviews, it got washed out at the box office.
The crime thriller film is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film started streaming on Prime Video without any pre-promotional rush. It was written and directed by first-time filmmaker Sreedhar Swaraghav.
HER revolves around Archana (played by Ruhani), a uniformed police officer returning to duty after six months of suspension to solve a high-stakes case. The drama featured a bevy of actors including Vikas Vasishta, Pradeep Rudra, Jeevan Kumar, Abhignya, Sanjay Swaroop, Banerjee and Ravi Varma, to name a few.
Sreedhar, the director of HER is best known for his short film Aayudham, which was critically acclaimed and won multiple awards in film festivals.
