Baby fame actor Viraj Ashwin, Sizzling beauty Payal Rajput, recently headlined a quirky new-age tale titled Mayapetika. The Comedy-drama film made its theatrical debut on June 30 but received mixed reviews, and had a modest run at the box office. It received praise for its quirky, unusual premise.
The film had screenplay and was directed by Ramesh Raparthi, who wielded the megaphone for AHA’s direct-to-OTT release Thank You Brother (starring Viraj Ashwin, Anasuya). Now Mayapetika is set to arrive on OTT Platform AHA Video from September 15, 2023.
Mayapetika tracks how a mobile device changes hands and influences people’s lives in unexpected ways, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. The flick boasts of an ensemble cast including Gadar 2 fame Simrat Kaur, Rajat Raghav, Sunil, Prudvi Raj, Shyamala Reddy and Himaja.
