The trailer of actor Karthi’s upcoming heist comedy, Japan, was released by the makers. The film, Karthi’s 25th, is written and directed by Raju Murugan and also Anu Emmanuel, Jithan Ramesh, Telugu actor Sunil, KS Ravikumar among others.
The trailer begins with a voiceover from Karthi’s character, Japan, starts doing robbery at the age of 10 for his mother and he turns out to be a most wanted robber. Unfortunately, he is trapped in a big heist and a murder case. Who did these crimes- Karthi or someone else?
Technically, the trailer looks solid with terrific BGM from GV Prakash Kumar, fantastic cinematography by Ravi Varman, and grand production design by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
Japan will be released for Diwali through Annapurna Studios. The exact release date is yet to be revealed.
