After a four-year absence from the movie industry, Sonam Kapoor will return with Shome Makhija's crime drama Blind, is a Hindi adaptation remake of the acclaimed Korean movie of the same name, originally released in 2011. Blind is all set to release on Jio Cinema on July 7 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali.
It also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf and follows a visually challenged police officer who embarks on an investigation into a series of serial killings. As per the makers, Blind is a compelling tale of resilience, determination and portrays a remarkable central character who overcomes seemingly insurmountable challenges.

This is Sonam Kapoor’s first OTT film. The shooting for the film was done in Scotland in 2020. Sonam’s last outing was the 2019 romantic comedy The Zoya Factor.
