Ashok Selvan's upcoming Tamil film 'Saba Nayagan', directed by CS Karthikeyan. The film's release date has been pushed from December 15 to 22 due to cyclone Michaung that wreaked havoc in Chennai and surrounding areas.
The actor took to social media to announce the postponement, and wrote "My Dear Makkalay, due to the cyclone flood which led to post-production and certification delay, #SabaNayagan has been pushed to the 22nd this month. See you in the theatres soon #SabaNayaganOnDec22nd".
Sabanayagan might face a strong battle as Prabhas 'Salaar' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki', which are locked in to be released on the same day.

Besides Ashok, the film also stars Megha Akash, Karthika Muralidharan, Sherlin Seth and Chandini Chowdary. The film is about four different love stories. It is bankrolled by Iyappan Gnanavel's I Cinema Productions.
