8 Thottakal, Jiivi fame actor Vetri’s next on-screen appearance will be in 'Aalan', directed by Siva R, who made Karotiyin Kadhali earlier. Makal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the first look of the film.
Billed to be a romance-drama, Aalan means creative. A man who has been interested in writing since childhood and lives his dream of becoming a writer, an unexpected event happens at the age of fifteen.
Tabeya Mathura from Germany has played the female lead in the film. Along with them, Anu Sithara, Karunakaran, Vivek Prasanna and Aruvi Madankumar have played important roles.
The first schedule of the shooting was wrapped up recently in Kodaikanal. The makers are currently on the verge of finishing the second schedule in Chennai and Puducherry. They are looking to wrap the film after completely the shoot in Rishikesh and Kasi.
Worth a Look
With Manoj Krishan lending his musical prowess as the music director and Vindhan Stalin helming the cinematography. Kasiviswanathan is overseeing the cuts. 3S Pictures is backing the film.
The film is eyeing to release in theatres on February end or March beginning.
