We know that Arun Vijay would join forces with filmmaker AL Vijay for his next film 'Mission Chapter 1'. It is backed by Lyca Productions and the makers have announced that the film is all set to make its release on Pongal 2024.
It is worth noting that the film will be released in theatres alongside Dhanush's Captain Miller, Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan, Rajini's Lal Salaam, and Aranmanai 4. Interestingly, Lyca Productions is also producing Lal Salaam.

Penned by A Mahadev, the film was earlier titled Achcham Enbadhu Illayae, and after Lyca Productions took over production, the film was renamed Mission Chapter 1. Aside from him, the cast includes Amy Jackson, Nimisha Sajayan, Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah.
Sandeep K Vijay and Anthony serve as cinematographer and editor, respectively. Vijay's frequent collaborator GV Prakash is in charge of the music.
