Actor Kaali Venkat upcoming film Alangu, directed by SP Shakthivel, who is best known for directing Urumeen & Payanigal Gavanikavum. The makers announced that the flick dubbing work has completed.
The film is billed to be based on true events that occurred on the borders of Tamil Nadu and Kerala and will revolve around a conflict between Malayali political groups and Tamil tribal youths.
Alangu stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Sarath Appani and newcomer Gunanidhi in prominent roles. Chemban Vinod and Sarath Appani play siblings, and the former essays the role of a politician, while Gunanidhi represents the tribal gang, and a dog plays a crucial role in the film.

D Sabareesh and SA Sangamithra are backing the film under the DG Film Company and Magnas Productions banners respectively.
