RJ Balaji would be headlining an upcoming Tamil film titled Singapore Saloon. After a slight delay, the makers have announced that the film will be released on January 25, a day before Republic Day. Directed by Gokul, who previously made films like Kaashmora, and Rowthiram.
The plot follows the life of a hairstylist who runs his saloon and has a lot of unfulfilled wishes. However, he strives to fulfill them by facing the hurdles and challenges.

Worth a Look
RJ Balaji plays a hairstylist, and he apparently trained under hair stylists for one and a half months to play this role. Apart from RJ Balaji, the makers have roped in Sathyaraj, Lal, Robo Shankar, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Kishen Das in important roles. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is also playing a cameo role in the film.
The film technical crew consists of cinematographer M Sukumar, music by Vivek Mervin and RK Selva handling the edits. Singapore Saloon is backed by Vels Film International, the banner that produced RJ Balaji's LKG and Mookuthi Amman.
