Tamil actors Ashok Selvan and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj's sports drama Blue Star has finally locked its release date. The film is written and directed by newcomer S Jayakumar and is backed by filmmaker Pa Ranjith under his banner Neelam Productions. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 25, a day before Republic Day.
Revolving around cricket, an ensemble cast, including Keerthi Pandian, Prithvirajan, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Lizzie Antony, Divya Duraisamy and Arun Balaji, ensures an engaging narrative. The film features the maiden collaboration of Ashok Selvan and Keerthi, who recently got married.
