Iravin Nizhal is a Tamil independent thriller starring, produced, written, and directed by R Parthiban. The movie stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Brigida Saga, Robo Sankar, and others in key roles. This film runs in flashback as a film financier looks back on his criminal past, his deeds and people he wronged and who wronged him while he hides from the cops. The single-shot non-linear film 'Iravin Nizhal' has a runtime of 100 minutes, music has been composed by AR Rahman.

Sinam is a Tamil Language Crime Thriller Movie directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan starring Arun Vijay and Pallak Lalwani in lead roles. Paari Venkat is an inspector who lives happily with his wife Madhangi and a daughter. All goes well happily but then the problem arises when his wife was missing. He also investigates for the same along with police constable Kadal. Later he then gets to know that his wife was raped and killed. How Paari Venkat finds the killers behind this forms the rest of the story.
Actor Shirish, who made his debut with the crime thriller, 'Metro' is all set for his third film 'Pistha' directed by M Ramesh Bharathi. The film has Mrudula Murali of 'Ayal Njanalla' fame and Arundhati Nair as the female leads. The film also has Veteran Comedian Senthil, Sathish, Yogi Babu, Sendrayan and Namo Narayana in important roles. A man who specialises in stopping weddings enters a tricky situation where his own wedding faces threat.
