Bollywood’s one of the promising filmmaker Anubhav Sinha’s new project titled Bheed, a socio-drama film has been released in theatres on MARCH 24th 2023. The story of the film is also written by Anubhav Sinha along with Saumya Tiwari and Sonali Jain. Anubhav Sinha's known for delivering movies such as Tum Bin, Ra. One, Mulk, Thappad, Article 15 etc. Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles, bankrolled by Anubhav’s production house Benaras Media Works.
The film illustrates the difficult days of the pandemic, how ordinary citizens were impacted, how politicians played important parts, and how cops managed those situations. During this period, he comes up with the real incidents of the global pandemic.
Bheed marks the second collaboration between Bhumi and Rajkummar after the comedy drama film Badhaai Do. Apart from these stars, it also features Veteran actor Ashutosh Rama, Pankaj Kapoor, Dia Mirza and others.
