Telugu actor Vishwak Sen recently gave audiences a ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ by playing two roles, one as a hero and the other as a villain. Continuing the experiment, he has signed on to play a grey character in a new film tentatively titled VS11. Lyricist, screenwriter and director Krishna Chaitanya, who has directed films like Rowdy Fellow (2014) and Chal Mohan Ranga (2018) will be helming this film. Noted Tamil composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is coming on board for the music score.
Now, an official announcement about the project was made on the occasion of the actor’s birthday on Today (March 29th), and the makers released a one-minute 05 second video, it shows “In a world that defies Social Norms, There’s no black & white! Only Grey. Mass Ka Das turns bad," besides wishing Vishwak on his birthday.
S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the names behind hits like Sir/Vaathi and DJ Tillu are bankrolling the mass entertainer presented by Srikara Studios. The film is co-produced by Venkat Upputuri and Gopi Chand Innamuri. VS 11 will commence shooting soon.
Vishwak Sen is also awaiting the release of his long-delayed experimental drama Gaami in 2023. He also has plans to make Falaknuma Das 2 and Das Ka Dhamki 2 in the coming years.
