Manoj Bharathiraja, son of veteran director Bharathiraja, who has acted in a few films, is all set to direct his debut feature christened ‘Margazhi Thingal’. Written and Produced by Suseenthiran, the film features newcomers in the lead roles and Bharathiraja himself playing a pivotal character. The film's first look poster was recently unveiled by actor Dhanush.
It features Bharathiraja standing with a stick at the backdrop of a village. And a silhouette of a couple is superimposed in the background. The film will also star Vinoth Kishan and Samyuktha Vishwanathan. GV Prakash will score the music. Cinematography by AR Suriya and editing by Thiyagu.
Shooting for ‘Margazhi Thingal’ is scheduled to begin by the end of April 2023, and the film will be shot in various locations around Theni and Madurai.
