Telugu periodical fantasy film Nene Naa, starring Regina Cassandra, had its theatrical premiere on August 25, 2023. One of her long-delayed films, Nene Naa, helmed by Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene maker Caarthick Raju, came to OTT within twenty days of its release in theatres. It is streaming now (September 22) on AHA Telugu.
Nene Naa has a strong lineup featuring several familiar faces including Akshara Gowda, Vennela Kishore, JP, Thagabothu Ramesh, Jiva Ravi, Michael, Rachapudi Kaushik, Yogi and Ravi Raja. The thriller was produced by Raj Shekar Varma under Apple Tree Studios. The film was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. Sam CS scored the music while Gokul Benoy cranked the camera.
Regina acted in a dual role as a princess and an archeologist in the movie Nene Naa. The plot revolves around an Archeologist who joins a team to unfold the mysterious killings in a forest and a mansion. The film's themes of reincarnation, divine justice, and the consequences of past lives make it an engaging watch for those who enjoy fantasy dramas with a touch of mystery.
