Siddharth’s Chithha is all set for release in theatres on September 28. Billed as an emotional drama, written and directed by SU Arun Kumar of Sethupathi (2016) and Sindhubaadh (2019) fame. Siddharth reportedly plays the role of an uncle in the film.
The supporting cast of actors including Nimisha Sajayan, Anjali Nair. Chithha also marks the Tamil debut of Nimisha Sajayan, who shot to fame with The Great Indian Kitchen.
Chithha also marks Siddharth’s production house Etaki Entertainment’s fourth feature film after Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, Jil Junk Juk, and Aval, all starring Siddharth. The film will be relesed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada.
The plot revolves around the relationship between an uncle and his niece. Also deals with the sudden disappearance of the niece one day and the uncle's subsequent efforts at tracking down the kidnappers.
Music for the film is by Vishal Chandrasekhar and Dhibu Ninan Thomas. Cinematography is by Balaji Subramanyam and editing is by Suresh A Prasad.
