Arun Vijay collaborated with ace filmmaker Bala's next film 'Vanangaan'. The makers have been unveiled the first look poster. In the poster, Arun can be seen covered in mud holding the idol of Lord Ganesha in one hand and the idol of social activist Periyar on the other hand.
Arun Vijay has replaced Suriya in the film after Suriya opted out of the project for changes in the story. The new film stars Roshini Prakash as the female lead and the rest of the cast includes Samuthirakani, Mysskin and others.
GV Prakash Kumar is composed the music. RB Gurudev and Sathish Suriya handles the cinematography and editing respecively. It is backed by Bala's B Studios & Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions.
