GV Prakash Kumar’s 25th film as an actor, has been titled 'Kingston', directed by Kamal Prakash. The movie billed to be the first Sea Horror Adventure in India. Divya Bharathi sharing screen space with GVP for the second time, after their movie Bachelor was a sensational hit. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan sounded the clapboard to the launche the film and the photos have gone viral. 

Notably, Kingston also marks Prakash’s maiden venture as a producer. The actor bankrolls the film under his Parallel Universe Pictures banner in association with Zee Studios and is being made in three languages namely Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The first look poster features a person stands in the boat approaching an oncoming wave made of skeleton heads. The caption in the poster reads, 'Kingston and the Cursed Sea'

Besides doing the lead role and producing, GV Prakash Kumar will also score the music for the movie, while Gokul Benoy is the cinematographer. San Lokesh will be editing the film.


'Kingston' is the second collaboration between GVP and Kamal Prakash after the as yet unreleased 'Kathalikka Yarumillaiye" that has Raiza Wilson as the female lead and Guru Somasundaram as the villain.
