The makers of Gangs Of Godavari took to social media to announce that their film will be hitting theatres on December 8. Gangs Of Godavari (GoG) is Vishwak Sen's 11th film. Neha Sshetty is the film's female lead, and GoG will be her third release of the year after Bedurulanka 2012 and Rules Ranjann. Anjali, Nasser and Goparaju Ramana play supporting roles.
Krishna Chaitanya is the helmer of this action-packed entertainer with political elements. He has previously directed the films Rowdy Fellow and Chal Mohan Ranga. Gangs of Godavari will go head-to-head with Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine and Nithiin's Extra Ordinary Man.
Gangs of Godavari is a joint project of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema. The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Sithara Entertainments' frequent collaborator Navin Nooli is its editor.
