Ram Pothineni and mass director Boyapati Sreenu’s latest mass action entertainer, Skanda, was released on September 28th with much hype, but it did not impress audiences and received mixed reviews. Despite decent box office earnings, it fell short of achieving substantial success due to the high expectations surrounding it. Now, the OTT streaming date and partner for "Skanda" have been revealed.
Leading OTT company Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the digital rights of Skanda. The movie is expected to be streamed on October 27. It will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
In "Skanda," Ram showcased his impressive dancing skills and engaged in intense action sequences. However, the film's storyline and narration left both audiences and reviewers desiring more.
Ram Pothineni played the dual role. Tollywood sensation Sree Leela played the female lead opposite Ram in the film. Sai Manjrekar, Srikanth, Sharath Lohithaswa, Prince Cecil, Ajay Purkar, Daggubati Raja, Prabhakar, Babloo Prithiveeraj and others played important roles. Urvashi Rautela shined in a special song.
Ram Pothineni is currently doing the movie Double Smart. Puri Jagannath is directing this movie. It is being made as a sequel to Smart Shankar which came in 2019.
