The supernatural horror-comedy Chandramukhi 2, starring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence, is all set to land on OTT platform. The movie will debut on Netflix on October 26, 2023, within less than a month of its theatrical release. It will be available for viewing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
Chandramukhi 2 was a sequel to Rajinikanth and Jyothika’s blockbuster film, Chandramukhi (2005), helmed by P Vasu himself. Chandramukhi 2 was released on 28 September 2023 to negative reviews from critics, alike for its outdated comedy, weak plot and lackluster performances. It has turned out to be a disaster at the box office.
Chandramukhi 2 follows the story of an affluent family who somehow triggers the centuries-old feud between Vettaiyan Raja and Chandramukhi. The film progresses as the family encounters paranormal activities and tries to resolve the matter. It also stars Lakshmi Menon in a key role.
Along with Kangana and Raghava, other talented actors and actresses who play key roles in the movie include Vadivelu, Srushti Dange, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh, and Subiksha Krishnan.
The music is composed by MM Keeravani, produced by Subaskaran Allirahaj under the banner Lyca Productions.
