Telugu actor Nani was last seen on the big screens with the film Dasara. He is now ready with his 31st film with director Vivek Athreya. The movie, which was earlier known as 'Nani31', has finally got its title. On Monday, October 23, the makers announced the title of the film as 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.'
In addition to the title, the makers have also unveiled the first poster and first glimpse video, which featured Nani in heavy iron chains, locked in a warehouse-like facility.
This film marks the second directorial collaboration between Nani and Vivek Athreya, their previous endeavor being the project Ante Sundaraniki. Additionally, the film is also special because it will reunite Nani with his Nani's Gang Leader co-star Priyanka Arul Mohan. SJ Suryah (Mark Antony, Spyder) will also play a consequential role, reportedly as the antagonist.
The film's music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the editing is done by Karthika Srinivas. Moreover, DVV Entertainment is known for bankrolling RRR and Bharat Ane Nenu, among others.
‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. The film titled Suriyavin Sanikizhamai in Tamil, Suryayude Shaniyazhcha in Malayalam, Suryana Sanivaara in Kannada, and Surya Ka Shanivaar in Hindi. The shoot kicks off in November 2023.
