The much-celebrated Kannada crime comedy Operation Alamelamma is now coming to Telugu. AHA has decided to premiere the Telugu version of the film with the same title on October 27. Rishi, Shraddha Srinath played the pivotal roles and written and directed by Simple Suni. The flick turned out to be a surprise box office success at the time of its release, marking Rishi’s on-screen debut.
Synopsis: Purmy is a vegetable vendor who is fascinated with brands. However, he gets framed for kidnapping John, the school going son of a businessman, after he picks up an abandoned luggage bag found on the road.
Rajesh Nataranga, Aruna Balaraj, Sumukha, Pranaya Murthy, Vijeth Gowda and Karthik play other major roles in the film. It was produced by Amrej Suryavanshi under Starfab and Suni Cinemas. Judah Sandhy scored the music for the film which had cinematography by Abhishek Kasaragod. Sachin Ravi edited the comedy.
