Kareena Kapoor Khan is back in action with 'The Buckingham Murders', Directed by Hansal Mehta (Aligarh, Scam 1992). The crime drama is reportedly inspired by the Emmy Award-winning HBO show Mare of Easttown. The movie recently received a standing ovation at its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival 2023, as per reports.
Recently the makers unveiled the film first-look poster. The poster features Kareena Kapoor Khan caught by two cops, her face with anguish and immense amount of grief looks quite gritty.
The atmospheric thriller revolves around Jasmeet Bhamra, a detective and mother. After losing her own child, she sets out on a mission to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire.
The film also an ensemble cast of Ash Tandon, Chris Wilson, Ranveer Brar, Haqi Ali, Adwoa Akoto, and Keith Allen. Written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker. It is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
