The wait for Indian 2 update is over as the makers have announced to share the first glimpse from the Kamal Haasan, Nayanthara starrer on November 3. The makers, on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's 69th birthday, shared a poster from Indian 2 featuring Kamal Haasan.
Indian 2 is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language vigilante action film written and directed by S. Shankar and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin through Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.
A sequel to the 1996 film Indian, the film stars Kamal Haasan who is reprising his role as Senapathy / Indian, an old freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption and crimes. In first part Kamal Haasan played dual role father & son. This film is India's official entry to Oscars Nomination of the year 1996. Shankar is one of the top directors in India he known for his film Jeans, Indian, Enthiran (Robot), 2.0.
Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Vennela Kishore and Deepa Shankar play supporting roles.
The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Ravi Varman and Rathnavelu and edited by A. Sreekar Prasad.
