Suriya 43 announcement has been made with a stunning glimpse and a star-studded cast. The news of Suriya’s reunion with Soorarai Pottru director Sudha Kongara has now been officially confirmed. The film produced by Suriya and Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment in collaboration with Meenakshi Cinemas that is reportedly inspired by actual events.
The video revealed the name of the entire star-cast which includes Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Varma and Nazriya Fahadh. The first glimpse hints at the riot background with blood spilled all over the road, and a burning radio. The makers also revealed the second half of the full title to tease the audience and build enough curiosity around the project. The film has been half titled as ‘Purananooru’.
While the exact title of the movie remains under wraps, fans have been speculating about what it might be. The crew has hinted that they expect to reveal the full title within a year, which will undoubtedly keep fans on the edge of their seats.
GV Prakash Kumar, who also scored for Soorarai Pottru, will be composing music for the new film. Interestingly, this film will hold the distinction of being G V Prakash’s 100th film as music director.
The filming of “Suriya 43” will likely begin soon after the actor completes director Siva’s ambitious “Kanguva.” Aside from that, the famous Tamil actor is negotiating with Rakesh Omprakash Mehra for the ambitious “Karna” film based on the ancient Mahabharata. It is projected to hit the market in 2024.
